OET – The English Teacher Case Study for OET Medicine
Mushfeq is a doctor from India. He is currently working in a UK hospital but not in his role as a qualified doctor. He aims to continue his medical career in the UK, but lacked the proper English qualification for registration with the GMC. He had studied and attempted the IELTS several times, but had failed to gain the appropriate grade for registration. He attended an OET course in London, but again did not achieve the mark he needed.
He then enrolled on a bespoke OET course with The English Teacher. We assessed his skills level in all four areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening and then designed a course which concentrated on his areas of need. We arranged his lessons to suit his work schedule and provided regular practice tests prior to his OET exam. Our intensive course covering exam technique and language skills enabled Mushfeq to successfully pass the OET and allowed him to begin the GMC registration process.
